The floor plan was designed with the tasks and relationships that each employee must maintain within the space. Future company needs were also taken into consideration by creating spaces and furniture layouts that are adaptable and flexible. Various working enviroments offer the Hive Media team spaces for both individual work and group collaboration.
The ceiling plan encorporates various light sources to provide task lighting at work stations, ambient lighting throughout, and accent lighting in the feature public spaces. Lowered ceiling bulkheads provide variation to the volume of the space and are used to create a sense of escape over the private spaces.
The furniture selected for Hive Media was chosen based on durability and functionality. Various styles of seating were used throughout to create a distinction in work modes.
